Current and Forthcoming Workshops

The next Write On creative writing course at the Ripple Project  will be on Writing about Issues and will last for eight weeks. Each class will start at 12.45, Thursdays. Open to everyone who lives and / or works in or near Lochend / Restalrig / Craigentinny. The course will start on 12 February.

City of Edinburgh Council Adult Education programme

I lead birdwatching walks. The next series of walks will start in February. I’ll post a link to the council’s online brochure once the brochure is updated.

Starting on Tuesday 27 January I’ll be leading another series of monthly nature walks for Wester Hailes Education Centre (Community Education). The first walk will be round Colinton and Craiglockart Dells, hoping to see kingfishers, dippers and maybe even a roe deer or two. Other walks will follow on 24 February and 24 May.

I’m leading an eight week Wednesday evening (6.30 – 8.30) creative writing class starting 28 January at Leith Academy.

Tailored Workshops

I am available for courses or for one-off workshops in Edinburgh and the Central Belt of Scotland and sometimes in Manchester. I can offer creative writing workshops for adults for conferences, local group meetings, community groups and for ongoing programmes of events. I can also offer birdwatching walks and tree or general wildlife identification walks.
